I just read the book, by Elizabeth Smart, “My Story” in 1 day, (I have others things to do…had to get it done fast ) She was kidnapped when she was 14 years of age out of her home, and taken up to the mountains, a few miles away. She traveled with her captors to California, and then back to Utah. She was missing for 9 months, she was raped, tied by cable, forced to drink alcohol, starving, barely able to even have a bath. The morning after she was rescued from being kidnapped, she claims her mother gave her the best piece of advice, not just for her, but for anyone! Her mother said , ” Elizabeth, what this man has done to you is terrible, there aren’t words strong enough to describe how wicked and evil he is, he has taken 9 months of your life, that you will never get back again. Don’t give him another minute, the best punishment you could ever give him, is to be happy, Is to follow your dreams, and do exactly what you want to do”. quoted by Elizabeth Smart.
When I came across, this quote, it seemed so perfect, for all of us!!
Camera; iso 100, 50mm 4.0 1/125 sec, with strobe/soft box. Hand held the camera, and the chandelier, that was a little tough!! As it rocked back and forth, and I didn’t want to see the watt label by the light…although that 1 crystal, is slightly out of place…oh well! It wants to be the one that sparkles the most!
