"Preserving Time for Generations to Come"

Morning Dew, Day 51, 365 Photo Project, ~June 18, 2011 June 18, 2011

“In the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures.  For in the dew of little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed.”  ~Kahlil Gibran

Awake at 6, out the door by 6:30, and taking pictures by 7:00 am, to be able to capture the morning dew off this snake grass.  So, glad it wasn’t raining!  I have fallen in love with macro photography.  I have been doing it quite some time, with close up jewelry shots, but with close up nature, I find I can put my skills to use.    I used my 100mm canon 2.8L lens, as well as an 36 mm extension tube.  Oh what fun!  Although, later today, I dropped my camera! Good thing, for filters!  The filter broke, the lens seems to be okay.  The camera is gone for a few days, so they can properly remove the fitler ring. So until I get it back, I will post a few pictures of today’s field trip, for the next couple of days!  Christina
