In my close up nature photography class, taught by Barry Giles at SAIT.  He comments, how we should consider changing up our backgrounds.  So, for this shot, that I took today, I used the original background, and another picture I added a black velvet material, to make it look black.  Which do you like better, do you have a preference?  Christina

    As much as I want things to be natural, I think the black looks better. The flowers “pop” out stronger.

    “Black velvet…” Christina, love your photography! What kind of camera are you using? Had you much experieince befor ethe SAIT course? I’d love to take a course, wish you had told me, I would have joined you.
