Here is a picture of a piece I designed awhile ago. It features the lampwork glass beads, that were create by Michelle Schomberg, Check out “Bousky Arts” on Etsy. It was years ago, before Etsy that I discovered her elsewhere and got these pretty babies!! This Sterling Silver bracelet features amethyst, with Swarovski crystals, and seed beads. It found it’s own home this week, and I’m so glad that it will be loved and cherished. Although, I will miss having it as a special piece of display. Michelle claims she has no idea what the flowers will look like until morning after they come out of the kiln. She has created other pieces, with cubic zirconia’s embedded right into the flower blossom. Beautiful and amazing! The process continues…the one artist that creates the beads I can’t, and another one (me) who can visualize it, and assemble it! Now, to find some more!! Christina
Creativity in a New Way?! November 3, 2009
Sorry, I haven’t posted much this past month. The Craft Fair season is now upon me (I already have had about 3 official shows), and I have been just called in to the cubbing program as Akela! I heard it’s because I’m creative! My wheels are turning in other directions of how to entertain, 8, 9, and 10 year old boys for just over an hour each week. Perhaps those cubs, would love to make a necklace for their mom’s on Mother’s Day! Any ideas please send them my way!!
